Diffusion of Innovation Fitness Trackers
Through the diffusion of innovation activity (fitness) trackers have become a popular technology. Activity trackers are a wearable technology. Non-athletes are using these devices to improve their overall health through habits such as sleeping, eating, breathing, and exercise. Athletes are also using these devices to improve their active lifestyles. These devices can track exercise and heart rate which is most beneficial to them. These devices are also being used for social purposes as well, as many devices have applications that connect social media and communication since they sync with smartphones.

Fitness trackers have been around in the simplest sense and have continued to develop and improve. They can be used in various fields and be modified for different people. There have been many innovations and improvements regarding fitness trackers and there are many positives and negatives to them. Along with the numerous uses they have, this technology is relevant to many people and should be studied further.
