PR & Marketing Director SAU Dance Marathon DM8, DM9
For 60 hours per week I volunteer as the PR & Marketing Director for SAU Dance Marathon. In this position I work alongside 10 other Directors, manage my own committee of 10 students, and oversee 600 students.
Overall I manage fundraising, recruitment, and events through various forms of strategic, creative, and branded traditional media, social media, videography, photography, graphic design, and apparel design.
More specifically I created our website saudm.org, write press releases, create media kits, create branding guidelines, oversee and manage social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Youtube and Snapchat), analyze analytics, and utilize additional sources (Adobe, Canva, WIX, Word Press).
In one year I strategize marketing plans for 20 major events, 70 fundraisers, 30 smaller events, recruitment (600+ students), 10 videos, 300 graphics, 600 social media posts, sponsorship, alumni engagement, and community outreach.
